A North Palm Beach businesswoman is projected to win the race for a vacant Village Council seat after a runoff yesterday.

Kendra Zellner has a 1.5 percentage point lead over Ron Okolichany after yesterday's vote.

Just about 28 percent of registered voters in North Palm Beach cast ballots in the race that stemmed from the March 24th special election for the Group 4 seat.

There had been a recount to decide which candidates would be taking part in the runoff.
