A Treasure Coast man who was facing less than a year in prison for having sex with an underage girl, now faces a whole lot more.

"This guy is an absolute animal!"

Indian River County Sheriff Eric Flowers is talking about 70-year-old Andrew Mustapick who was arrested this week in a murder-for-hire plot.

A relative recently came forward to report that the man wanted to hire someone to coerce the victim into not testifying.

He's accused of then paying $20,000 to an undercover deputy disguised as a hit man to intimidate the girl into not testifying. Then when told that for another $50,000 he could have her killed, Mustapick is on video saying that it would be "cheaper" to "kill her."

"He's willing to bump her off in exchange for this money, he's all about paying for everything."

Just before his arrest, investigators caught Mustapick on video throwing his computer into the Sebastian River.
