Florida's newest U.S. Senator will share more information on her ongoing efforts to combat the opioid crisis.
Ashley Moody's press conference this afternoon in West Palm Beach will focus on the HALT Fentanyl Act.
The senator will be at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and joined by members of law enforcement.
As Florida's attorney general, Moody was focused on the opioid crisis, spearheading the state's historic opioid litigation, securing billions to address the impact of the crisis on our state.
The HALT Fentanyl Act aims to permanently classify fentanyl-related substances under Schedule 1 of the Controlled Substances Act. It recently passed the Senate.
