The man Broward Sheriff's Office investigators believe brutally beat a movie theater-goer back in July is finally behind bars.
Thanks, in part, to a Crime Stoppers tip, Jesse Thorton II was arrested yesterday and charged with aggravated battery with great bodily harm.
Despite claims from the defense attorney claiming his client doesn't have a large amount of money, a Broward judge set Thorton's bond at $250,000 and ordered he stay away from all South Florida movie theaters and the 63-year-old victim,
Cops say the 27-year-old repeatedly punched Marc Cohen who asked Thorton to move out of his pre-assigned movie theater seat.
