An area of disturbance that experts at the National Hurricane Center in Miami have been tracking for days has, as expected, developed into subtropical storm Don this Friday morning. The storm is well out over the central Atlantic. Don has been moving slowly northward with a continued slow northward or north-northwestward motion expected during the next couple of days. Don will likely turn eastward on Sunday and then southeastward early next week. It is not posing a threat land.
