Florida grocery chain Publix announced a new addition to their menu: a Nashville hot chicken sandwich that features their popular chicken tenders marinated in a spicy sauce and served on King's Hawaiian bread.

Publix is taking inspiration from Tennessee to create its latest limited-time offering, the Publix Deli Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich.

Available from April until June, the sandwich is a twist on Publix's already popular chicken tenders, which are marinated, breaded, and fried in-store.

This latest variety features a sauce that includes garlic, cayenne pepper, and brown sugar, giving it a signature hot flavor that fans of Nashville-style hot chicken will appreciate.

Audrey Peace, the Hot Prepared Foods Category Manager at Publix, said, "we've heard from many people in the Nashville area. They said we really nailed the flavor."

The sandwich is finished off with two slices of King's Hawaiian bread and some pickles, making it the perfect lunchtime treat.

Publix first entered the Nashville hot chicken game last year, offering the spicy chicken tenders.

They are still available separately, and customers can customize their sandwiches to their liking with their sandwich artists.

The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is only available until June 30th, so customers should act fast to try it out.
