Student loan provider, Sallie Mae thought it was a good idea to fly out 100 employees to Hawaii to celebrate $5 BILLION in sales.

Borrowers were upset as the nation's student loan debt grows to $1.6 TRILLION.

Rightly so social media went into a frenzy, "Sallie Mae celebrating $5 BILLION in sales, not millions, BILLION. Those are not sales, those are people trying to pull themselves up by their bootstraps."
