Miley Cyrus & Dua Lipa Hit The Studio Together: See The Shots

We know that Miley Cyrus is gearing up to release new music and it appears as if Dua Lipa might be part of the mix.

On Wednesday (August 5), Cyrus took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with her pop peer and songwriter Watt with one enticing caption. "Dua has heard what you haven't," she wrote of the shot of the trio in the studio. Meanwhile, Lipa dropped some different photos of their studio session, but kept things tight-lipped by calling the meeting none other than a "bromance." Cyrus jumped in on the comment section, replying, "they are innnnn for a TREAT!!!!"

Watt has been an essential member for the pop pair's recent endeavors. On Cyrus' end, he helped the star perform her cover of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" during an at-home rendition of Saturday Night Live, while he was one of the producers and writers in charge of Lipa's recent hit, "Break My Heart." He's reportedly spent some time working on the former new album, She Is Miley Cyrus. Back in March, Cyrus said that she was "super close" to completing the album. "I am feeling the urgency. I am definitely actively on it and ready to go," she said during a radio interview, adding, "I've got some music that is sounding super rock and roll and I'm just excited to share, but not too much longer."

Prior to sharing the hot shot, Cyrus dropped a teaser of a new song titled "Midnight Sky" via Instagram’s newest feature, Reels, a format that allows users to create and discover short form, edited videos with audio and music. The star is said to be launching a "scavenger hunt" of sorts on her account, sharing exclusive images, sound bites and celebrity listening parties. Scroll on below to see the posts!
